ISOTONIC SODIUM CHLORIDE INJECTION

Sodium Chloride Injection, USP 0.9%, also known as Physiological saline, is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, aqueous mixture of sodium chloride. It is indicated for infusion to restore fluid and electrolyte balance in clients. This isotonic preparation has a pH of approximately 6.5 to 7.5, and its osmolarity is approximately 290 milliosmoles per liter (mO
